- You can also add vanilla essence or cinnamon powder just to add a bit of flavor. But to add cinnamon powder, coat the powder separately after dipping the sticks in the mixture of egg and milk. You can also add sugar with the cinnamon.
- Fry them in a pan turning it now and then until brown with the help of a spatula.
- If you like baked sticks, then coat the pan with oil or butter and arrange the sticks in the pan and put it in the preheat oven.
Side on with the Toast : After the toasts are prepared, they can be enjoyed with different syrups. You can sprinkle the toasts with confectioner’s sugar and icing. You can even use the chocolate dip to enjoy your toast
How to freeze the French toast sticks
Spread the sticks onto a tray with baking sheet and let them cool down. Then put the tray in the freezer and wait till the sticks are frozen. After they are frozen put them in plastic zip lock bags and label them with the name and date. This will help you to use them before they expire. They can last 1-2 months in the freezer.
How To Reuse The Frozen French Toast Sticks
To reuse the frozen toast, take the sticks out of the bag. Heat them in the microwave on high power for 1 minute. If need be then you can heat after 15 seconds till the desired result is achieved.
The toasts can also be heated in the oven. Bake them for 10 minutes then turn them around and bake for 5 more minutes.
